NEW TRENDS IN INFORMATICS: The way ahead

The world has witnessed enormous and unprecedented developments in the fields of communications and information technology during the past few years. This was also accompanied with tremendous growth in research in various information technology fields and the development of new computing techniques and paradigms.

This conference brings together ICT researchers and practitioners to exchange views, positions and research results on the state-of- the-art development and research in the fields of Computer Sciences; Information Technology; Information Systems and Operations Research & Decision Support.

The main aim of this conference is to establish a working dialogue about what new trends are worth heading for the successful utilization of information technologies and systems to serve society's goals and to meet international research challenges.

The conference also aims to highlight outstanding issues that should form a part of the forthcoming research agenda in the area of disseminating and applying sound research methodology in information systems practices and technologies.

The conference program committee intends to organize a number of relevant tracks and/ or sessions as suggested by the accepted papers.

A special session on Multiple Classifier Systems with the collaboration of Ulm University, Department of Neural Information Processing, is planned to take place as a part of the conference program.
